Dearest Children,
Hello, my sweet little ones! We had a fun week this week - but then again, we always do! I had to teach at church today and I spent the last two days preparing my lesson, but I was still really unsure. I usually like a little more time to prepare because I want it to be really spiritually interesting. I feel like I did a fine job and hopefully everyone felt the spirit. I also got to take some pictures of the Hoenes' kids and it was so fun. I really hope they enjoyed the pictures I took. I love taking pictures and helping people remember special times. I want to get better at it and do it for more people. I don't like to charge for it since I feel like it is my way of serving them. I feel like since we have been so blessed with the funds to buy a nice camera then I should help others preserve their memories.
Your dad has been so silly this week! He is letting his beard grow out which I have decided to call it his Novem-Beard. He's been working a lot lately this week. He works really hard for us. But you know what? He always comes home and gives you kids a bath. No matter how tired he is he loves spending time with you.
We had an interesting shopping trip on Thursday of this week. We went to Michael's to get some paint and supplies for me to paint Nora's mural for her bedroom. Annalise thought it would be fun to cry the whole time unless I gave her a cookie. Nora decided to open the paint and put it on her lips like make-up. Nora, you just adore make-up. You ask me every. single. day. to put on "make-ups". Always with an "s" at the end. After getting out of the store we got some gas and I was in such a hurry to get you guys some food that I left the cap off of the gas tank. Ooops! But this nice man crossing the street saw it and closed it for me. I love nice people that help each other out. :) Then we were off to Taco Bell were Nora fell out of her booster seat and hit the tile floor. AHH! So scary. Nora, you were a little scared but fine. You had a little bruise on your forehead for a day afterwards. Everyone in the Taco Bell was so worried about you. Perfect strangers came up to make sure you were okay. I guess none of them have a two year old.
We had Tiley and her family over for dinner today. Dad made the BEST chile verde pork. We played with all their kids (Charity, Brigham, Bryson and Tiley - Nora's BFF) and then your dad and I practiced for a song we're singing is Sacrament meeting next month. I think it sounded really nice. :)
I love you my darlings,
Your Mom
What is it about Taco Bell?! Elena fell there too and the Taco Bell employee was so freaked out about the cut on her head, he asked if he should call an ambulance. I took her to urgent care and they ended up gluing her back together, so no stitches. I'm glad Nora was okay.
